Here are some tips that you can use during the Annual Open Enrollment period or if you are a new employee who has not yet elected a medical plan option.

Estimate Your Cost Worksheet

1. Download the medical plan summary sheet to compare the three medical plan options. Summary of Medical Benefits
   
   

2. Review your medical use from last year as a guide to what services you might use this year. If you are currently in the BCHP plan you may review your claim history at Principal.  Principal Personal Log On
   
   

3. Pharmacare’s Cool Tool - The Pharmacare web site can assist you in comparing copay costs for your Prescription Drugs.   RX Co-Pay Counselor
   
   If you are a current member, you may use the My Benefits Log on to see yours RX copays. Pharmacare Log On
   
   

4. Add up the actual costs to you, including premiums. Check with your employer for your payroll deduction for three medical plan options: Choice, Classic and Basic Plan Option.
   
   

5. Compare Plans to determine which the best plan is for you and your family.
